The Music Shed is a contemporary music school that’s located at Novena & Eunos. Founded in 2018, their course welcomes students of all ages. In fact, their youngest student is 4 year old and oldest student is 72 yr old! Providing both online and physical classes, The Music Shed allows students to choose whichever suits their schedule best. They offer many music courses and we’ve picked out a few below:

Online Music Classes
In response to Covid-19, The Music Shed has launched their online music courses to help students virtually. These online music classes allows students to learn from the comfort of your own space without having to spend extra time traveling. You just need to prepare the following essential materials for online classes: a physical instrument, a notepad, a stable internet connection, and a computer, laptop, or tablet.
Online classes offer the same In-Person classes, except they exclude Band Mentorship and Children's Classes
Accredited Examination
The Music Shed also offers accredited examinations for various instruments - ABRSM and Trinity College London. If you're looking for a meaningful musical milestone for your child or want to earn a certification as an adult. They offer classes specifically designed to prepare you for these exams.

They 6 different practice rooms available for rent that ranges from 40 - 60sgd/hour. Existing students are eligible for their special studio rental rates.

Thunder Rock School

Thunder Rock Music, located in Upper Thomson Road was Founded in 2010 by Ian Toh. They provide classes ranging from acoustic/electric/bass guitar, contemporary piano/keyboard, saxophone and band mentorship. To help students become well-rounded musicians, they also offer music theory and songwriting classes.
Song Writing
If you've been wanting to learn how to compose your songs from scratch, or need help enhancing your existing composition or songwriting skills, Thunder Rock School has classes for you. The course exposes techniques and methods for easier music composition that can level up your game.
Performance Opportunities for Students

Rubato Music School is a relatively new music school that’s founded by Grace in October 2022. It is located within Bugis, Central Singapore at Bras Basah Complex. The music school offers classes such as the Saxophone, Erhu, Vocal, Drum, Cajon, Piano/Keyboard, Ukulele, Acoustic, Electric, and Bass guitar. As well as, Music Production and Songwriting courses.

Rubato Music Learning Culture
At Rubato Music, they believe in flexible learning. The instructors there have extensive experience performing live and are dedicated to tailoring their teaching to every individual’s needs. KJ Music Studio

KJ Music Studio is founded by Tan Kian Joo (KJ), he has achieved various musical accomplishments throughout his musical journey and career. He holds a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and has been awarded the Fellowship from the Royal Schools of Music (FRSM), achieving high distinction in his Licentiate from Trinity College London. His ensemble experience ranges from Baroque quartets to jazz ensembles.
